Comparing the two sites with each other, immediately you can see the difference in quality and effort. On the left is the news section of the bbc.co.uk website and is layed out in a far more user friendly way, It is constant throughout the site and the site must have over 500 pages, whereas, the website on the right only has the same repetitive annoying background constant throughout the site. The BBC website has a menu bar on the left for the primary resources and after you click it the secondary resources appear under the menu button you just clicked. The driving site has no navigation purposes and has way too much information on the home page and is trying to make everything stand out and grab your attention initially. The BBC website prioritises the information and gives you slightly larger writing for the headline to grab your attention and normally a picture to back it up with slightly smaller text to inform you and explain. The text the BBC uses is clearly visible on its softer background so ideal for people with visual impairments, whereas, the driving website has different colour, distorted and unclear
text that fails next to the BBC's constant approach.
BBC have a colour scheme that fits and is constant and compliments itslef, but not the driving website, oh no no no, this website has no colour scheme and is just text the creator has just placed on the site with no thought.
WILL FINISH LATER!
